February Skiing in the Sierras

The weekend of February 12th, some friends asked me to join them in Tahoe Donner for some skiing.  Since Georgia was at a quilting retreat, the invitation hit the spot.  One of the items on my bucket list was to be able to ski at the age of 75, hopefully for free.  Well I made the bucket list item, but had to pay for all of my lift tickets.  The most expensive was at Squaw Valley, where the lift ticket is $139/day for super seniors.  The cheapest was at Sugar bowl, where it was $63.00/ day for seniors 75 and older.  We got in three days of skiing with one day each at Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and Sugar Bowl.  Attached are some pictures of  the weekend:
